Medical School for International Health
The Medical School for International Health (MSIH) at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) is renowned as the first and only medical school in the world to incorporate global health components into all four years of the core M.D. curriculum.
As a small and prestigious medical school, the MSIH M.D. program prepares students for a career practicing medicine while meeting the challenges of global health — and making a real impact. MSIH is dedicated to preparing a new generation of doctors who have a comprehensive view of health around the world — whether they practice medicine locally or internationally.
MSIH needed a mobile-friendly website with a fresh, contemporary design that would set them apart from their competitors. They needed a way to easily update their content regularly to promote scholarships and other special offerings. Finally, they needed a way for potential students to apply online and have their information stored in ways that would let MSIH follow up, track application status, and communicate throughout the process.
AndiSites created a bright, cutting-edge new design for the new MSIH website and developed it using mobile-first, user-friendly WordPress. We converted their Word-doc-based application form into a well-organized online form that allows submission of additional materials and online signature.
Then we helped MISH choose a Content Relationship Manager (CRM). We integrated it with the application and contact forms so that submissions would be automatically stored in the CRM, allowing MSIH to track and nurture leads.
Applicants and contacts are regularly using the forms on the new website, and MSIH now easily interacts with interested parties through their CRM.
MSIH’s leadership and funders love the new site and how its design and functionality engage users more deeply and positively than ever before.
In only 30 days from launch, sessions were up 21%, bounce rate was down 39%, and the session duration (how long people stay on the site) was up at whopping 143%.
