Congratulations to Carteret Community College on the launch of their new AndiSites-designed-and-built website!
Carteret Community College in Morehead City, NC teamed up with AndiSites for a total redesign and redevelopment of their website from static-and-confusing to mobile-friendly, easy-to-use, easy-to-update WordPress. The old site design didn’t take advantage of Carteret Community College’s beautiful location, but more importantly it was hard for their multi-aged users to find what they needed. So we created a new look-and-feel featuring aerial waterfront photography and an intuitive site architecture so that users can find what they’re looking for quickly and easily. Of course we made the new site mobile-friendly so that users can interact with the site well on mobile phones and devices. And we implemented the WordPress Content Management System so that staff can easily administer content and keep it up to date.
We also needed to work creatively to make the most of the available budget. So we designed and developed flexible page templates; leveraged powerful known-safe plugins that deliver sophisticated functionality without custom coding; and trained and consulted with staff members so they could perform initial content entry themselves (a huge budget-saver). We partnered every step of the way to ensure that the project overdelivered for the budget, and we continue to support Carteret’s staff as they get to know their new website and make it even more helpful for their audience.
