Hennepin Technical College (HTC), a member of Minnesota State, offers hands-on training across programs like Auto Body Collision, Graphic & Web Design, and CNC Machining at two campuses. AndiSites designed and developed a site built around a user-first navigation system, helping every visitor, from prospective students to employers, find their path in seconds.

The Challenge

HTC serves a wide range of visitors, future students, current students, faculty, staff, visitors, and employer partners — each with completely different needs. The site needed to serve every audience without forcing anyone to dig through irrelevant menus or generic program listings.

Breaking the Barrier

AndiSites designed and developed a role-based navigation system that lets each visitor self-identify — Future Student, Current Student, Faculty/Staff, Visitor, or Employer — and be guided directly to the tools and information relevant to them, from program pages to the employee portal.

Who Benefits

The site serves prospective students exploring hands-on career programs, current students accessing D2L, registration, and student services, employer partners seeking a skilled talent pipeline, and HTC staff sharing news, emergency alerts, and campus updates — all through one organized digital hub.

Built for Impact

With a clear, role-based structure, HTC can now connect every type of visitor with the right resources instantly — from applying to a program to registering for classes to hiring student talent. The result is a website that reflects HTC’s hands-on, career-focused mission across both of its campuses.
