Let’s Get Real

We all have something (or a few somethings) that we would like to change about ourselves. Unfortunately, a common response (or at least one I’m familiar with) is to wait around for a pattern or behavior to magically recognize its own futility and disappear without effort. I like to think of these not as weaknesses, but more as opportunities to grow.

This week, let’s get real. These “opportunities” are not going to fulfill themselves. Take note of characteristics or behaviors that you would like to change and next to each, come up with a handful of ways you can make those changes happen. Remember why these patterns do not serve you, that outcomes will not change until the behaviors/beliefs do, and how releasing them will enable you to more easily achieve the goals set in Week 2.
