Accept What Is, Appreciate What Is to Come

We’ve spent weeks focusing on goals we would like to achieve in the new year and changes we would like to make in order to help them more easily come to fruition. This week, we are going to focus on accepting what is, not as something to be judged bad or good, but just simply as what we have currently created (which we likely have have done for a reason). It might be more difficult to make changes without considering old patterns and how they serve or do not serve us, but being able to accept the present can enable us to have the appreciation required to see a new future.

This week, accept and appreciate your life. Make a list of everything you would like to have, things that you long for or think would make your life better or easier if you obtained. Then, take a moment to reflect on and appreciate what you do have in its’ place. Changing these thought patterns to ones of acceptance and gratitude can enable us to be in a positive frame of mind for creating and receiving new things.
