The Department of Justice’s Title II accessibility rule requires state and local government websites and apps—including public colleges, K–12 schools, libraries, courts, hospitals, transit agencies, utilities, and special districts—to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA by April 26, 2027 (April 26, 2028 for smaller entities).
Automated tools are a good starting point, but they only catch about a third of real issues—manual testing and remediation take it the rest of the way, and that work takes time. If you haven’t started, don’t worry. It’s not too late. But it’s not too early, either.
AndiSites can help you towards compliance with a clear assessment, a practical plan, documented remediation, and hands-on help at every step—guided by our on-staff Web Accessibility Specialist and a WordPress team that knows this terrain. We’ll take the worry out of accessibility, now and over time.
Accessibility isn’t an afterthought at AndiSites. We incorporate accessible practices into the websites we design and develop, and we help organizations assess and improve existing WordPress websites—even when we didn’t build them. A thoughtfully designed website may begin in relatively good shape, but formal testing is still needed to uncover barriers and verify how well the site works for people using assistive technology.
Understand where your website stands today and identify the barriers that need attention.
Prioritize and remediate through technical work, content improvements, training, and documentation.
Continue testing and improving as content, documents, features, and technology change.
Accessibility work requires more than installing a plugin or running an automated scan. Our services are guided by an on-staff Web Accessibility Specialist, using tools like Equalize Digital Accessibility Checker Pro and WAVE—plus manual testing with real assistive technologies.
Automated tools identify only some barriers. Human-led testing answers questions software can’t.
Every new accessibility engagement begins with a clear understanding of where your website stands today: a $500 automated scan, a review of your site and a sample of digital documents, and a customized menu of next steps—fully refunded if you hire us for remediation.
